Re: [IRCA] Decent night

This is impressive DX but it is what can be expected in decent cx from a quiet QTH with even a BOG as short as 300 ft and unterminated. Embedded comments below and prefaced by (KAZ)

(KAZ) I don't recall this slogon on CJCA which ID's as "The Light" but also don't think this is my fringe area WAUR. I suspect this could be CJCA. You also reported Q-91 on 910 and I find that amazingly hard here in IL as I almost always get Minot that direction. Q-91 has a big null my way, and even heading 100 miles north of here makes them easier. On 930 MN has a NOS format...could it have been them?

Have to leave early tomorrow so decided to give last night my all. Cx started to get promising around midnight when KTSM 690 El Paso IDed and stayed pretty consistent, and 880 CKLQ Brandon was creaming WCBS.

(KAZ) About 3 years ago KTSM did something and went from very rare to rather common here. Look also for KOAQ from NE if you hear oldies, although they don't seem to be as easy as they used to be.
