[IRCA] TP for 8 Mar from Victoria, BC

More of a "normal" morning here, with the big guns well represented, and not so
many of the upper band second string stations. Listened primarily from about
1420 to 1435UT, but a quick listen at 1330UT showed quite good activity also
including the jammer on 1053 which wasn't heard later.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

594 JOAK
747 JOIB
774 JOUB
1566 HLAZ

reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

567 JOIK, not //594 at 1418UT, but definitely JJ talk
639 CNR-1 //4460
828 JOBB
972 HLCA

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be
understood by a native speaker

603 HLSA presumed w/mx
873 JOGB //828
963 two stations mixing, though RR sounding talk dominated very quickly
1134 not //972 or 4460, so most likely JOQR
1287 presumed JOHR
1503 JOUK //594
1575 VoA at 1437
1593 CNR-1 //4460

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

558 didn't seem //603 so JOCR?
576 ?
585 didn't seem //594
675 Vietnam?
702 seemed //774 so NHK2
711 perhaps HLKA
846 maybe //594??
1161
1314

Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

1008, 1098, 1107, 1188, 1422

best wishes,

Nick
