Many "daytimers" (Class D stations, in FCC parlance) have obtained 
authorization for low power operation at night.  WGMI is one of 
these.  The permitted power is calculated on the basis of having no 
significant impact on the nighttime coverage of other stations.  In 
addition, Class D stations have no coverage protection at night, so 
other stations do not have to include them when calculating nighttime 
interference to other stations.
