[IRCA] TP's for 09-01-09

Good Morning, 

Listened from 1229-1320 ut. This morning was probably better than
the best morning in August for TP's here.  Upper channels far better
than the lower channels.  NHK2 on 1386 weak with nothing from JOAK 594,
but a weak carrier?  Used a slinky antenna SW for detecting DU signal
paths. Worked ok on 738 & 891 carriers.

153    RUSSIA, 1231 fair with music and Russian talk.
234    RUSSIA, 1233 fair with man in Russian.
279    RUSSIA, 1233 weak.
738    TAHITI, 1249 probably the station level 5 carrier. SW Slinky antenna.
774    JAPAN, JOUB 1230 good with English conversation lessons. S-8 signal.
828    JAPAN, JOBB 1231 weak to fair with woman in Japanese.
1053   Korea's 1236 jammer fighting it out with very weak audio.
1134   UNKOWN 1238 splatter covered signal with woman in ? language.
1287   JAPAN, JOHR 1309 weak with man in Japanese.
1386   JAPAN, NHK2's 1311 weak at times.
1422   JAPAN, JORF 1245 very weak with talk.
1503   JAPAN, JOUK 1253 weak with music and Japanese talk. First time this season.
1566   REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLAZ 1239 S-9+20 db with woman in Japanese.
1575   THAILAND, VOA 1241 rapid fading signal, weak at best with man in
       Asian language.
1593   CHINA,CNR1 1243 weak with woman in Chinese with music in background.
