[IRCA] Radio North DX Test Reception... NOT

Given the distance and the low power, I didn't have much hope for hearing
even a carrier from Radio North, Donegal Ireland's DX test. However, if even
a *whisper* of the carrier was propagating into the Pacific Northwest, the
"Zoom" tool on Perseus would show it.

True to expectations, a review of four hours of Perseus recordings, zoomed
in extremely close to 846 kHz, showed nothing but background noise. I was
observing 845.997 in particular, as that's the offset reported recently for
Radio North. Given the A and K indices lately and other reports of
lackluster TA conditions, this was not an opportune time. I found no
carriers whatsoever in the vicinity of 846, using the ALA100 loop oriented
at 35 degrees.

I wonder if Walt Salmaniw in Victoria BC to the north of me was trying for
R. North with his Perseus?
