[IRCA] ULTRALIGHT DX.....1090 SPANISH UNID...Revisited???
Hi Guys:
Well this UNID SPANISH station on 1090 Khz continues to haunt me!!
Last night I had it again over/under/mixing with WBAL. Still can't get
an ID outta it though...but did hear repeated Jingles with "PUNTO
CINCO" mentioned .
Surely someone else is hearing this Station on 1090 Khz. At times it is
way over WBAL and others it's Mixing or Under WBAL. Never heard this
SPANISH Station til the Kitchener, ONTARIO Station left the Frequency
and went to FM.
I still seem to get the best Signal on this Station when the ULR Ferrite
Antenna is oriented towards the Southeast.
Anyway....I sure hope someone else can hear this and maybe squeeze an ID
out of it...'cause it's really driving me mad!!
Radio Used was...SONY- SRF-T615 BAREFOOT.

1090 UNID March/14/09 0051-0105 EDT SPANISH FR-VG
Mixing with WBAL. SS Ballad 0051/55 edt. Lively Spanish Vocals and Accordion
Music 0055-59. Jingles and Possible ID @ 0159..all I could squeeze out was
"PUNTO CINCO" . More Accordion Music and Lively SS Vocals. "PUNTO CINCO"
Slogan heard 2-3 more times. More SS Ballads.
I THINK this is coming from the SOUTH EAST ????
UNID.......Can anyone else hear this??????
