This morning when I woke up at 6:30 PST, I grabbed the DX-440 and turned it
on. I left it tuned to 1090 last night, and this morning, was greeted with a
huge het for about 3 minutes before it faded. I was unable to isolate the
carrier (fat chance in this electronic hodpe-podge I live in.) Any ideas
what could have been causing it? I don't think I've seen anyone reporting
any TPs around that frequency.
