Re: [IRCA] WJR from across the Pond

Good work, Paul. WJR sounds about the same here in Indianapolis (220
miles) on the cheap portables that I use, as it does on your recordings.
Nice.

Before ULR's were fashionable, I took an old Sony cassette Walkman with
me for a trip to the UK and Scotland. In London proper, MW sounded like
SW here, lots of the Europe continent. Then I went to Scotland. I
spent one night in Oban, and did a quick bandscan. Mostly Northern UK,
Scotland and Scandanavian (unknown). I wish that I would have had more
time to try for TA's, while I was there.

73,
Dave in Indy

I don't think I've ever heard 760 WJR quite as loud as this.

Recorded at 0530

I've just started listening to my overnight recordings and conditions
seemed to have been excellent with lots of very strong signals booming
in to Scotland
