Re: [IRCA] Bandon OR CP 800 khz?

Scott,

It sounds very much like the KBOI-670 pattern change. When they put up
the 6 sticks and sent a null to the South, the pattern to the West did
not change much. Maybe I get a bit more Chicago when cx are good, but in
reality, it makes little difference. Right now KGA is one of the
strongest signals I get, especially off the Eastern beverage. It is very
hard to get around them at night as they are within gw & skip distance
and they flutter & fade at night, so it is hard to get a stable null on
them for phasing. I do hear Piedmont, Fresno, SLC, etc at LSR and LSS
at times. Denver has been logged on the rare occasion. WLAC pops in
easily when KGA has been off as well as the Texan. One side note is, if
KGA is a bit weaker, I may get better signals on 1503 & 1512 from Asia &
the Pacific without as much splatter. Now I have to often wait for KGA
to drop off after LSR in the Fall/Winter.
