Re: [IRCA] DX 4/22 DX Double R 1017

Don,

I have been not 100% happy with the SW EWE for sometime. I just could
not put my finger on why it had not been working as well. I noticed it
mainly on daytime gw, where KORC 820 Waldport was not as strong as it
used to be. Now it is back to normal for the most part anyway. This cold
has been a doozy, as I rarely get sick and two colds this Winter has
been too much. But when I got up yesterday and looked out the Window and
saw everything white and it was 34 degrees, that is unheard of for the
Oregon coast in late April. Snow is not common here anyway. Anyway, I
will remeasure the length of the vertical elements on the EWE and see
how close they are now. But I was amazed at the signal of Double R on
1017 this morning. It was as good as I heard it in the Fall.

Patrick
