Re: [IRCA] WHOOOOPS -- It happened again -- to KFI

I would say that getting KFI in SE OH since the tower fell is quite nice as they are only rarely noted here in NE IL now. 73 KAZ ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Faulkner" <dfdf@xxxxxxxxxx> To: "'Mailing list for the International Radio Club of America'" <irca@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Interesting. I've heard 'em here twice since the tower fell, my initial
logging of them in early 2005, then about two weeks ago. Given the mess 640
is around here, it's a wonder they ever get in.

Mike,

At this rate it doesn't look like they will ever get the tower back up.
I am still wondering "if" the 100 feet less will make any difference in
their extended coverage. Since the tower fell, I do not hear KFI during
the day up here. I used to hear it most of the year. Even the carrier
weakly in June/July, if nothing else.
