>From NW Iowa I could hear 9 states regularly in the daytime.  The most distant were probably the 3 big Chicago stations, WMAQ-WGN & WBBM.  I couldn't hear WLS daytime.  KFYR-550 ND was a
regular with good signal.  WCCO-830 was strong but I could not receive KSTP-1500 daytimes.  Also 560 & 630 were vacant both in the 50s & the 80s when I listened.  Sunset dx was really superb
from NW Iowa.
