Re: [IRCA] Might mites Ultra Light SRF-59 DXing

Hello Brett,

Very pleased that you are impressed with the SRF-59's hot little AM
receiver! You are the 11th IRCA member who has reported using the SRF-59, and
11 out of 11 have been very impressed.

A couple of tricks you might try with the tiny radio is using a tripod
to mount it, so it can completely null out your locals, like what Kevin here
in WA has done. Or, you can place it right on top of a Quantum Loop's
rotating bar antenna, for a huge signal transfer (even with Q-multiplication). You
can chase TA's with it (mine has logged 3 TP's so far), or because of its
3-ounce weight, use it as a mean, lean traveling DX machine.

For those of you still sitting on the fence, Brett's report is one more
glowing testimonial to motivate you to join in the fun!

            73 and Best Wishes,
