Curt,

I was wondering about noise. I used to have a little $30 12V unit that
was charged, but it died. It would run the R8 for several hours. I don't
see those units for sale any longer.  But it looks like a UPS may not be
the answer. I always thought of buying a 12V car battery, but I don't
want that acid battery in the house.
