There are a lot of EC 50 kw clears which have patterns shooting mostly
out into the Atlantic - not just in NYC.

The only NYC clears which really get out well are 660/770/880. 1130
does next best.

I also lived about 40 miles South of most of those transmitters when I
was growing up and starting DX'ing. 1130, 1050 and 1010 did OK there as
did 1560 but 710 still got chewed up a lot.
