Hi, Dennis. I monitored between 12:50 and 13:55 and had a mixture of DU and Asiatics (ie Japan). Not as good for the DU for sure this morning. A few comments: I just erected 2 corner fed
broadband loops (following Bruce Conti's excellent website), and the results were very gratifying! They are at right angles, favouring 244 deg (my "south broadband"....aimed at Australia/NZ) and 334
degrees (my "west broadband loop"....aimed at Alaska, Siberia, Mongolia and India). Excellent performers. For example, 828 was receiving 3GI on the south loop, while the west loop was hearing NHK2. They perform as well as the ALA 100, and often better than my K9AY! Very gratifying, and in a small package, easily fitting into my urban back yard. Seems quite quiet as well. They're keepers for sure! Here's the catch this morning:

Snippets of audio or a "6" unless otherwise noted:

279
531
567
594 an 8 with JOAK early in the session best on the W loop.
612 notably absent with audio. 5 only.
621 wonder who?
657 EZL music at 13:14 on S loop only.
666 6 to 7. Weak audio initially, I thought might be French, but JOBK by 13:18
675 7 3YA
702
738 RFO in French at 7
747 an 8 with NHK2 on W loop
756
774
783 a 7. May be 2YB Access Radio Wellington
828 Great Frequency. 3GI Gippsland strong at 13:33 on the south loop, but NHK2 on west loop at same time with equal strength!
855
1503 The only audio on the upper band at 13:46.
1566/1575 were notable by their absence by 13:46. In fact the whole upper band only yielded a few carriers, so an early fade-out compared to yesterday and recent days.
