1942. First broadcast of It Pays to Be Ignorant, on MBS. Last broadcast February 28, 1944. Moved to CBS, February 25 until September 27, 1950. Moved to NBC, July 4, 1951. Last broadcast September 26, 1951.

1970. The FCC handed down legislative ruling 35 FR 7732, making it illegal for radio stations to put telephone calls on the air without the permission of the person being called.
