Re: [IRCA] IBAC vs IBOC

Broadcast professionals will think ill of DX'ers who say, 'IBAC'? So? Who
cares?

Are we suffering End-stage Chronic Naivete, complicated by Terminal
Pollyannism?

Earlier today, a post quoted WSM 'broadcast professionals' re IBAC/iBLOC.
They speak for many 'broadcast professionals' when they declaim HD. Shall we
censure them, as well?

Beyond denials re jamming and overblown claims, this is what irks
'professional broadcasters': HD promoters demand all 'go HD' - or else. All or nothing
mentality arouses suspicion. As one writer - not the undersigned - stated:
"everything about HD is a lie".

Many 'broadcast professionals' increasingly speak out about coercion exerted
against them and colleagues by those who push this peculiar 'inevitable
digital future'.

Can you think of a single worthy product promoted via undue influence?
Neither can I.

HD Bund only came this far because they kept their jamming secret. Secret's
out.

Is TeamBLOC trying to 'control the terms of the debate' so as to cheat their
way to winning it? It's an old ploy, one which marks crooks and despots. What
are they telling us?

HD shill parrots always insult DX'ers. Many on this board astutely note, a
guy who listens to night games on distant stations is not a DX'er. But HD
stooges resent them, too. Why?

What are they hiding? They stink of fear.

HD is about greed, and those who will say and do anything - anything - to
satisfy it.

Why care one whit about the opinion of this ilk? Their insults are high
honors.
