Re: [IRCA] CFB (Compact Florescent Blubs)

For those who feel that banning the normal incandescent bulb is a good idea,
I refer you to this. Mind the potential URL wrap.

The message here is *never* report *anything* to the government unless you
have no choice. And then go kicking and screaming.

I do believe I will be allocating part of my basement for bulb storage, much
like Patrick. You might save electricity, but there are other costs.

Has anyone figured the cost to the environment to make these things? Anyone
looked at Sudbury, ON lately? Seems they have taken an environmental hit
over raw materials used in these supposedly energy efficient cars. Being
green sometimes just means squeezing the "brown" to somewhere else. Another
version of NIMBYism.

And, yes, I am a fan of Global Warming. I didn't even need my snow blower
at all this year. I anxiously await a return to the weather conditions of
the Medieval Warm Period which allowed Greenland to be, well, green.

I'll shut up now. Harumph..
