Sirius has ads.  We have had Sirius for almost 3 years.  They need all the money they can get, having to pay Howard Sterns $500,000,000. five year contract.  That's not counting the bonus money that he receives. when more listeners sign on. Works four days a week and gets about 6 weeks vacation a year.
