I expect they are. They previously were a much lower
daytime power. They got 10KW. I expect CC spent the
money to go over the entire antenna system. It now
performs as it should.

They got a najor power increase. I think they had to
do a lot of antenna work. Before that, they had NO
night authority.

With a 50K signal, you'll get some your way. WCNN
kills WPTF enough my way to make listening to that
show....it's been on forever....the Sunday Night Hall
of Fame....sometimes hard to listen to.  Maybe the
engineer needs to know, and it could be that someone
built a cell tower within 5 miles and didn't do a
proof and it knocked their pattern out. It happens
more than you think....even to non DA stations. And
not doing it right can cost the cell provider LOTS of
money.
