[IRCA] DX Update From Northern DE

DX update from northern Delaware:

Note: All of the below clips were recorded using a new Edirol R-09 MP3
recorder/player which is an absolute joy to use. I unfortunately cannot
remember who first posted a note to the IRCA listserver commenting
favourably on this device; whoever you are, many thanks for doing so!!

24-Feb-07 // 0003 local // 1360 khz. // WYOS // 0.5 kw night// Binghamton,
NY // Graveyard like rumble then sudden male voice with "WYOS sports...ESPN
Radio...1360 AM". // New. A 162 mile catch. Most of their nighttime RF
energy is thrown to their north almost directly away from me.

24-Feb-07 // 1704 local // 920 khz. // CJCH // 25 kw // Halifax, NS // End
of Broadcast News, then an ad for 'The Power Panty' (!!) with mention of
the Halifax Shopping Center. Into "AM 92 CJCH satellite weather" ending
with "that's your AM 92, CJCH..." which was momentarily swallowed by a CKNX
reverse fade. || Battling it out with CKNX. New. A 698 mile catch.

24-Feb-07 // 2012 local // 1120 khz. // WPRX // 0.5 kw night // Bristol, CT
// Hard driving tropical rhythm then station call in Spanish (Doble U - Pe
- Ere - Equis) by male after mention of Connecticut. // New. A 195 mile
catch with KMOX phase nulled.

At 2025 local, musical piece ended with station call in English: "W-P-R-X,
Number 1..."

And finally, at 2031 local, a female offered up the "La Puertoriquenisima"
station slogan (matches 2006 NRC AM Radio Log data).
