That's funny, Colin.  I thought that, at least in Canada, that both Sirius and XM are losing a lot of money and that there's talk of merger.  Many of the "new subscribers" are simply there as part of a new car package and there's no guarantee that they'll actually continue as paid customers.  Don't know how things are in the States, however.  I know it's a great idea in the isolated regions in northern B.C. for example, where you might not hear a single station on either AM or FM, and if you do, it'll likely be a low powered FM CBC repeater.........Walt Salmaniw in Victoria
