Only NHK2 stations sign off at 1500UT on Sunday and Monday, Steve.  I believe 
that the NHK1 stations such as 594, 567 and 666 are 24 hours.  But 1593 could 
have been China, as the NHK2 stations on that channel should have been off the 
air by 1505UT, after the peaceful music box chimes put the early rising DXer 
back to sleep.
