In addition to clamping poles to the fence, how about those lightweight 
telescoping poles. I have one I got at Dayton for $90 that is 30' and quite 
sturdy but there are also some fishing poles that go up to 20 feet that are 
less than $15. I use the latter for portable flag antennas - See Pop Com Nov 
p-31 for picture of mine north of Boston. You could use these for a flag 
antenna ( or EWE) and during the day you could drop the poles down to fence 
level. A good way to support them is those cement bases for patio umbrellas. 
Very portable and requires no digging or construction efforts. I have also 
used the base from an old broken office chair, which with a little 
modification, makes a good base.
