Anything is OK with enough butter on it and you never eat grits without butter. Add maple syrup and you are in 7th heaven; just stir it all up; it ends up that way anyway. This comes from someone who knows: (1) I went to school in NC and ate grits throughout college; (2) I can even almost enjoy lutefisk with enough melted butter.

As for DX relating to the above, I logged the late Kvitsøy-1314 this past season.

Elsewhere and otherwise:
1270 WY KIML Gillette popped in with a solid ID at 0000 8/5 while driving home in Tacoma. Never heard before. Night pattern very unfavorable so must have had had lingering fivekilowattitis. (Car radio).
