Can anyone, other than myself, remember the BIG solar storm of 1957?? TVDX
was great!!!! So was 10 and 6 meter ham bands. The weather was REALLY a mess
back then. About like it was in 2005. Then came a really big lack of
sun-spots,
in 1960 to 1963. Great DX on the low bands below 7mc, and by 1967 we had a
large enough sun burst to trigger power outages all over America.
