Re: [IRCA] Wobbler 1100

Wasn't el Guajiro an avid scuba diver in his salad days? Is he, in his dotage, reliving guerilla experiences? Did he don his rubber suit, dive in, and grav a fleeing raft-borne '54 Ranch Wagon only to inhale el Habana's oil-graced waters? Is he the source of both Wobbler and bubble-jammer noises? Does this make him 'Lawrence Welk Ready'?*

            * - Lawrence Welk trademark? Bubbles. Edward D. Wood, Jr. made bad films - no
bubbles. Phil Tucker, a contemporary, made bad films - with bubbles. Tucker's
'Pachuco' debuted at a west Texas drive-in, closing it the same night as angry
filmgoers tore down the screen. His "Robot Monster" featured the 'Billion Bubble
Machine'. The 'monster' - an overweight extra in a gorilla suit and deep-sea diver
helmet - used the Bubble Machine in tandem with an old Hallicrafters to talk with
'Great Guidance', another hapless extra in a gorilla suit somewhere in space.
