Re: [IRCA] Need someone to confirm KXTO 1550khz Test

I just listened for the test, 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after 0100 PST TOH--nothing heard here. (The 50 watt Reno, NV ndb on 351 kHz was heard at good level, for what it's worth.)

Subject: [IRCA] Need someone to confirm KXTO 1550khz Test

I need someone out West to confirm that KXTO 1550khz is in fact running
the "inventory insert" DX Test signals at 0100PST and 0400PST
as reported.

I'm certain that Paul Walker is correct and that the station is running
the test, but haven't been able to speak personally with the station
management yet, and would rather confirm this before widely
publishing this test.

Test should run tonight at near the TOH. Their program formats varies
so you might want to tune in a few minutes before the TOH
and hang with it for a few minutes after. Thanks in advance and thanks
to Paul Walker for arranging this test from a rare state!

Please call anytime 24/7 if your transmitter
will be off the air for maintenance.

P.S. I heard some weak sweep tones last night at 0400 PST myself...but
not good enough to ID (YET!)
