Curt,

I already have e mailed Gerry about returning the unit, as there is
either a defect or something. I have not heard back from him as yet
though. 
   The MFJ 1026, I had to do a mid to cut some resistors/coils to get
good gain on MW. The mod then makes it work down belolw the MW band. But
the Quantum is supposed to be made for MW w/o any mods I was told.
