Another day, another dawn of great conditions on the West Coast -- some of
my notes...

1225        1179        RGD  Peoples Republic China - solid levels with
"bang-a-chang" operatic music...
1226         657         DPRK Pyongyang - brain washing levels of what
sounded like a N. Korean version of "Queen"... 'We will ROCK you, then
brain wash you...'
1231         1098       CNR (Various) Chinese talk by OM at great levels
with a mix of other stuff below - but solidly dominating.
1233          603         KBS - Korea South - really good levels this AM -
// with 558 Khz
1234          531         NHK 1  // to 567, 594, 612, etc...
1235          621         DPRK - likely the moderately paced Korean
speaking YL - good modulation...
1236          675         UNID - A mix of what felt like an open carrier or
station with very low modulation - Live Korean WebSDR stream indicated the
same thing with very quiet music and mumbly talk
1241          1116        CNR Various - 1 of several duking it out this
morning - most/all Chinese speaking
1244          1206        RGD Yanbian - Solid Chinese speaking // Japanese

// 690 and then faded down - wondering if there is an LPRT on this channel?
1308           801         DPRK Pyongyang - Strident sabre rattling martial
harangue by Korean YL.
1309           819         KCBS Pyongyang - on top with no less than 2

1317           873         JOGB NHK2 Kumamoto Japan - // 774 Khz with
Chinese lessons
1320           1305        CNR Various - China - Slow and easy YL Chinese
chat
1325            540         KBS-1 (t) Smooth Korean pop under/over CBK
Regina
1328            576         UNID - Pop music of some kind or another - this
could be a good channel to shoot for Philippines - not a lot of big
Japanese or Korea competition.
