A fallback in conditions this morning

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, 
at least briefly):


1566 HLAZ peaked at 1602UT with woman in Chinese, but was also at 
pretty good strength later with Russian talk at 1632, 1637 and 1642UT




Reasonable audio  at  times during the period (much of it 
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):


639 CNR1 man in Chinese, slightly offset from //6125, 1526UT
774 JOUB woman mentioning NHK 1539UT
972 HLCA man in Korean 1537UT



not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or 
noise could be understood by a native speaker:

594 JOAK man and woman in Japanese  1523UT
693 JOAB  man in Japanese //774, then male ballad 1521UT
738 3 and 1 pips heard faintly on hour; by 1502UT at reasonable 
level  with woman in Chinese; Taiwan?
747 JOIB man in Japanese //774 1505UT




Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be 
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in 
talk or music)

837 man talking, not parallel 594, and had a Chinese intonation
873 JOGB man and woman talking //828 1527UT
1134 laid back music 1543UT
1143 woman talking, Chinese intonation  1612UT
1593 CNR1 woman singing //6125, 1602UT



Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or 
ravaged by splatter)

  711 864 891 918 936 945 1089  1188  1206   1458  1512 seemed to be Asian;
 1017 seemed to be DU
