one would think for a 50kw am on a decent dial position, groundwave would
be more then 53 miles. at least one would hope.

Up in NW PA, the 50kw stations around 1000 to 1080 clobber each other...
WBZ clobbers WYSL, WBZ kinda nips at KDKA... I'm to ofar at night for
groundwave but too close for skywave from KDKA
