[IRCA] TP 28 July Victoria version

A nice mix of Asians until around 1200UT, with some DUs turning up about half an hour later.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

no

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

no

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

612 4QR woman in DU Enlgish 1230UT; ID a few minutes later //738

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

594 man talking DU English inflection , not //612 1237UT
738 2NR woman and man talking DU English //612 with slight offset 1231UT
774 JOUB, man talking, Japanese inflection 1101UT, not properly ID'd until pips heard at 1200UT
828 JOBB, man talking, Japanese inflection 1140UT; pips heard at 1200UT
891 man talking DU English inflection 1240UT
891 JOHK....pushing it, but NHK pips heard at 1200UT, not much else
1116 woman talking, DU English inflection 1237UT
1566 woman talking, Chinese inflection 1135-6UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

594 693 747 972 1242 1323 1566 seemed to be Asian;
702 756 1098 seemed to be DU

best wishes,

Nick
