[IRCA] TP 5 April Victoria version

As Gary noted, a bit of an Asian recovery this morning.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

774 JOBB woman in Japanese 1329UT

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

594 JOAK man in Japanese 1328UT
747 JOIB woman in Japanese 1326UT; still some traces 1437UT, about an hour after local sunrise
828 JOBB English lessons 1255UT
1566 HLAZ man in Japanese 1337UT; faded in and out until well after sunrise, and reached this level again for a short time with man in Chinese 1430UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

567 JOIK man in Japanese 1307UT, 594 in the weeds just then
702 NHK2 English lessons 1303UT
972 HLCA presumed, emotional vocal music by man 1333UT
1242 JOLF woman in Japanese 1326UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

558 woman talking; no // on 603, and actually sounded more Japanese 1309UT
891 JOHK man talking //594 1301UT
1134 man and woman talking quickly; Japanese? 1305UT
1287 man talking Japanese inflection 1334UT
1422 woman talking, Japanese? 1301UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

666 693 918 954 1053 1143 1323 1575    seemed to be Asian;
612 621 (strong, but no audio; Tuvalu?) 1098 seemed DU

best wishes,

Nick
