[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 11-21

As Richard and the Victoria DXers have reported Asian signal strength increased pretty dramatically this morning, with sunrise enhancement delivering a potent boost to the high band TP's. 1593-CNR1 ended up with its best signals of the season at 1511 (very good, on peaks), although it was in a wild mix with the pesky NHK2 stations occasionally.

At my 1435 start time there was diverse Asian audio all across the band, with second-tier stations on 603 (HLSA), 657, 738 (BEL2), 1044 (CRI), 1503, 1575 and 1593 in and out at fair levels in addition to the fair-to-good level big guns on 594, 693, 747, 774, 972, 1053 and 1566. Around 1450 the high band Asians started to receive a major daylight boost while the middle and low band TP's slowly sank into the noise. 1566-HLAZ's Chinese service and 1593-CNR1 were the major sunrise enhancement beneficiaries, with both potent indeed by 1500 (very good, on peaks). 1503-JOUK and 1575-VOA also came up to fair to good levels in and out, 1377-CNR1 started managing weak audio, and the NHK2 synchros on 1593 started joining CNR1 in somewhat of a free-for-all. 1593-CNR1 prevailed over the Japanese by 1510, however, reaching its best level of the season in the recording linked below. The watered-down Puyallup version of sunrise enhancement ran out of steam by 1530, however, with 1566 and 1593 the last ghostly Asians to sink into the noise. Overall the session was the best Asian performance since October 24th, and hopefully an indication of better days to come.
