Re: [IRCA] cc crane radio

I also have the Grundig S350 but really haven't shook it down yet. Not
thoroughly anyway. I like the radio rfrom what I've heard so far. I
love the RF Gain knob especially for SW which I'm really into even more
than BCB - at THIS time anyway. I come and go with it.

And yes, I've NEVER heard of a digital readout radio that didn't
function in that capacity. Makes tuning VERRRY difficult with tht
radio.

I really don't care about the wx feature as I have a good Bearcat
scanner with wx on it.

And just FIVE memories per band? Oh well, it DOES have a large ferrite
bar antenna and I get some really great oldies stations in New Jersey
and CT!

The Superadio runs rings around the CCRadio. The Grundig S-350 is what you
wanted when you got the CCRadio or Superadio.

Digital readouts have been out for 25 or so years. All the others don't
fail. The ribbon that attaches to the readout is glued down. Talk about
cheap.

Can't say anything about the Justice Loop. I use an ancient Joe Worcester
SM-2 which, although long in the tooth, still works and a couple of RS
passive loops.

I would not recommend the CCRadio or CCRadio plus to anyone. The Grundig
S350 and Superadio III are better buys.
