After listening to them for hours, I finally got a nice clear ID at 0400 PDT.  I've been envious of people who talk about how well they're coming in.  I'm about 45 miles south of KFBK AND in their main beam.  Here, you can pick up KFBK and KHTK on dog collars, and the dogs aren't any too pleased about that!
