[IRCA] Re: [NRC-AM] Re: WNTP will Test Tonight

I can't believe I did this.  I was getting very good results only to discover when I went to stop the recorder, that somehow it had not started.  I have to assume the small buttons are the cause of me failing to start it.

So, I have no recording, just the knowledge I really did hear the WNTP test quite well including test tones, clear and strong, and the recorded ID announcement.  I heard what I think was every part of the test from 0045-0145 EST or so.  There was little fading, modest background noise, and only slight interference from another station on the channel from about 0115.  Slop from 980 ended at 0100, though that may have been from antenna adjustments I made.  While the best audio was in USB with some bandwidth and passband adjustments, I could easily hear the tests even with wide filter and in AM mode.

I'm getting a fairly good signal since I started listening about 0045 EST.  Easily identified test tones, some slop from local 980, after 0115 a station came up somewhat on 990 but I could pretty well null it, ID announcement heard quite well.  Recording in progress.
