Hey guys Im very new to this. All I really wanted was to listen to BBC 
african news, South African programs and a few other african countries. I 
did alot of research on a radio in my price range. I came to the Sony 
ICF-SW7600GR. So far after 4 days and Monitoring Times monthly guide I cant 
get one program clear enough to bother with. I live high on a hill in 
pittsburgh and Im using a clip on wire out my window (came with the radio). 
I havent got one channel above 10000KHz yet. Can someone give me some tips? 
Do I need a desktop receiver to get programs not intended for North America??
