Look at the interference standards. The AM channel must be within the 20 kHz spectrum limit; IBOC wastes as much as 100 kHz of spectrum space. IBOC also violates the NRSC interference standards, too.
In the way things are to work in this country, it's the will of the PEOPLE that must overrule the will of big business. The FCC has not been submitting to the will of the PEOPLE, who don't want IBOC and BPL.
