[HCDX] 8 November Morning Loggings

NORTH KOREA 2850.025 KCBS, Pyongyang 1054 long tlks by M and W anncrs in Asian lang. Certainly sounded KR. 1058 into lively instru. revolutionary mx. M anncr just before ToH (ID??), 3+1 time ticks, then W in impassioned desk-pounding tlk. M joined in later. //3320. Heavy QSB. Peaking strongly at 1056, then dropped down to almost nothing 2 min. later, and came back up right at ToH. (8 Nov)

USA UNID. 4049.912 (3X1350 Harm.) KWMO, Washington MO. C&W mx when peaking at 1104. W anncr at 1106 but it was down at this time. Back to more C&W mx. Came back at 1158 and still there w/C&W mx. Just before ToH, W w/short ID anmnt ending with ".now here's KWMO". 1213 End of live W anncr and clear canned ID by M. 1214 ad w/M anncr mentioning Washington. "Back in the Saddle Again" Gene Autry at 1216. According to the FCC AM Query, its listed as only 84 watts nighttime!! Quite a haul from MO for that low power. Of course no sign of it on the fundamental. (8 Nov)

RUSSIA 6240 WYFR relay 1115 End of tlk, then IS played no more than twice, and tlk in CH or like lang. by M and W. Fairly good. (8 Nov)

SOUTH KOREA 6215 KR numbers stn 1235 apparent numbers by W and M in pres. KR. The M was almost completely inaudible. Went off suddenly at 1238:35 in mid-tlk. Didn't check any of the other // freqs. (8 Nov)
