[HCDX] Log for Fri.7/10/09




4845 MAURITANIA R. Mauritanie 7/10/09 0700-0715 Tuned in to hear a canned station ID by an Om in Arabic. The ID was followed by apparent news by an another Om in AA. Signal was poor and bothered by intermittent codar. Tune-out at 0715. (Barker-PA) 



5995 MALI RTV du MaliÂÂ(Bamako) Â7/10/09 0645-0700 At tune-in there was bright, vibrant tribal music. Vocals with lots of drums, flutes and whistles. These very lively selections were interrupted briefly by an Om in vernacular at 0655 followed by more indigenous music. Radio Mali ID was heard at 0700 by an Om in French. (Barker-PA) 



9575 MOROCCO Radio Mediterranee Inter.ÂÂbetter known as Medi-1. 7/10/09 0725-0748 Om talking in Arabic at tune-in. But the station ID at 0730 was in French. This was followed by an Om with News in FF, including manyÂcorrespondent reports and several actualities. At 0742 a Yl took over also in FF. At 0745 there was a block of ads and Medi-1ID's and station promos. Signal was poor Barker-PA)
