[HCDX] Logs July 4 and 5




4845 MAURITANIA R. Mauritanie 7/04//09 0717-0730. Still on, but faint. OM reciting prayers in Arabic. Middle Eastern/North African style music at 0730 tune-out. Extremely weak signal, just barely readable. Nothing heard the following day this same time slot. (Barker-PA) 



5910 COLOMBIA Marfil Estereo. 7/04/09Â0835-0845. Om in Spanish playing back-to-backÂmusic then a long block of ads and station promos. Lots of 'Marfil Estereo' ID's. Fair signal. (Barker-PA) 



6010 COLOMBIA La Voz de tu Conciencia, Puerto LlerasÂ7/04/09 0746-0810. Female preacher in EE being translated into SS by an Om. There was no ambient sound to indicate if this was recorded in studio or live before a congregation as in previous loggings. No ID at ToH. TransmissionÂhad a flutter and aÂhum. Poor. (Barker-PA) 



9635 MALIÂÂÂRTV du Mali,ÂBamako. 7/05/09 *0800-0820. Sign-on with flutes and drums . ID announcement by Yl in French, who continued talking in vernacular until 0810, when some splendid tribal music was played. This was followed by an Om talking until 0820 fade out. Signal was poor. (Barker-PA) 



9690 NIGERIA Voice of Nigeria. 7/04/09 0810-0835. Tuned in to apparent newscast by an Om in listed Hausa. At 0815 a different Om came on with what sounded like more Nx or perhaps commentary. He mentioned Rwanda and Zimbabwe. Clear ID at 0830 in Hausa and in English: "This is the Voice of Nigeria...?...Lagos" Signal was poor to fair. (Barker-PA)
