Korea N, 9650, Voice of Korea, 0907-0930+  Noted a female
in Japanese language comments.  At 0919 music is presented
briefly until another person talks.  Signal was poor.  (Chuck Bolland, June

Unid, 6150, 1000-1020+  Noted two Chinese speaking stations here.
Thought it might be Taiwan (Radio Taiwan International), but I
am told that Firedrake occupies this frequency too. Both stations
are mixing together in a jumbled mess while they remain at a
poor level. At 1030, noted  marching music, like a National Anthem.  (Chuck

Indonesia, 9680, RRI Jakarta, 1010-1030,  An earlier check of this
produced a weak signal, but at a 1010 check, noted a good signal
with a female and later a male in Indonesian comments between music

Ordinary Dipole:   I've been thinking about doing some work on
                           my antennae this week, but last Tuesday I almost
                           stepped on a Rattle Snake in my yard, so I've 
been
                           hesitant to walk around in the grass - which 
keeps
                           growing thicker - making it easy for a snake to 
hide.
                           So now I got a "snake in the grass" to contend 
with.
                           What I put up with for this hobby!
