[HCDX] RNW-Netherlands expands in India

Radio Netherlands Worldwide (RNW) has taken on a new partnership with a major Indian cable network, Incablenet.
RNW already collaborates with various FM radio stations, and the new partnership will allow around 2 million Indian listeners to access its English programmes via digital cable for the first time.
RNW's Director General Jan Hoek said: "India is one of the fastest emerging superpowers in the world. Growing trade, historical and new cultural relations with the Netherlands mean that the need for information about Western countries is growing."
Based in Mumbai, Incablenet currently serves over 6.5 million households in analogue cable.
Last year RNW began working with several Indian FM stations and broadcasting organisations, providing listeners with information about the Netherlands and Europe.
