Russia, 7320, Radio Rossii, 0900-0930, Just caught canned ID by a female
at tune in as Radio Rossii (sounded like RAH SEE). Consequently, this
sound of the name often throws me. The ID was followed with news in
the Russian language. Commentary and news continue during the time.
Noted canned ID's periodically. Signal was good at begining of
the schedule, but by 0920 there was a noticeable decline in signal
strength and quality. Dropped at 0930. (Chuck Bolland, April 20,
2009)

Bolivia, 6134.79,. Radio Santa Cruz, 0935-0945, Noted a weak signal here
with a male and female conversing in Spanish language. Had to notch out
the Brazilian's het from 6135 KHz. Although the range of the notch function
on the HF1000 is very wide, it doesn't have the tracking capabilities that
the NRD545 notch filter has. Santa Cruz's signal has almost disappeared
by 0945 as it fades to threshold status. (Chuck Bolland, April 20, 2009)

Brazil, 4805, Radiodif do Amazonas, (pres), 0950-1005, At first heard a very
weak signal here. It was impossible to copy at that point. Infact I wasn't
sure if I heard anything? By 0958 the signal began to fade in a little better and
noted a male in Portuguese language comments. Still about the only certainty
that I had was that the station was Brazilian. At 1004 a seqment of news
spots heard. Signal was threshold at 1005. (Chuck Bolland, April 20, 2009)
