PERU   4939.96  R. San Antonio  1104-1115  Very nice nonstop tinkly OA 
camposina mx.  M part of one song shouting something mentioning Cusco and 
??bamba.  1115-1119 anmnt block; first; w/M anncr w/roomy audio and poss. 
ment of onda corta, second; 2 men w/what sounded like ment of " ?? 
domingo.dia.radio. radio.Municipal Villa Atalaya.".  1119-1139 slow-tlking 
live studio M anncr w/nx (??).  Ment of Peru.  1120 canned anmnt, then live 
M again and poss. ment of Villa Atalaya and Provincia.  1124 another canned 
ad, and then the live M returned of course.  Could tell it was still going 
w/tlk by M at 1139, but it was gone for all intents and purposes a couple 
minutes later.  Guwahati took over the freq shortly later.  Don't recall 
ever hearing this one before and surprised more DXers haven't reported it.

INDIA   4940  AIR Guwahati  Nonstop lcl Indian mx 1150-1200, deep-voiced W 
anncr in muffled audio at 1200-1205, probable nx.  No ID noted.  1205 back 
to mx..  Speech by M at 1227 check.  Great signal this morning .  (10 Jan.)

INDIA   4880  AIR Lucknow  Tone 1208-1213, then usual AIR IS, 1215 M 
w/opening anmnts and into vcl mx by male chorus.  Good Indian morning.  (10

INDIA   Could only verify that 5040, 5010, 4920, and 4860 were carrying AIR 
EG nx at 1230.  4920 was the best of the 60 mb Indians at this time.  (10

MYANMAR   9730.86  R. Myanma  1239-1304 pgm of lcl popular vcl mx hosted by 
W anncr.  Long tlk by W anncr 1252-1257.  Went over ToH w/mx pgm.  W 
returned at 1302.  Best at t/in but faded badly by ToH.  Guess the reason 
for the fade is the lowering of the MUF with evenings progression.  I recall 
this (Burma) used to be in this area in the mid-70's and vaguely recall 
hearing it then.  (10 Jan.)

GUATEMALA   4799.8  R. Buenas Nuevas  Was here earlier after 1100, but not 
at 1218 check and only the XE and presumed Indian underneath were heard. 
Buenas Nuevas was back on at 1224 though.  1304 easy Marimba mx, then 
childrens choir w/rel. song, then another Marimba song.  M anncr at 1310. 
Mixing with the XE at this time.  (10 Jan.)

MEXICO   6104.8  Candela FM  Still getting a carrier at 1500.  (10 Jan.)
