Hi Glenn, Happy/Healthy New Year. For everyone's information:

New Years Eve starts at 2100 with testing all forms until 2145.
Then I go on at 2200 playing New Years "Auld Lang Syne" and music from the countries in the NYE time zones until Big Ben's bong's at 00:00 followed by GB's NYE Rock Spectacular till 0230 UT. Then I continue until 0900 UT, counting down the NYE with music coordinated to the time zones, e.g. Brazil, music from Brazil. The music is more Real Deal R & R when it approaches North America.

A five hour scan of the 22 meter experimental band (13 mhz) on December 29, 2023 between 1700 and 2200 UTC resulted in 3 beacons logged: NI5FX (13.555402 mhz) Graceland, FL; WB8ELK (13.555373 mhz) Huntsville, AL; and KA9SZX (13.555395 mhz) Macomb, IL using Palstar R30A Receiver and Horizontal Loop antenna. New country logged - Luxembourg - LX5JX heard on December 27, 2023 on 40.680 mhz using FT8 mode. At 13:36 strength was heard at -17 DB. Experimental license granted to LX1JX . Receiver is a Yaesu FT-847 and the antenna is a 5 element 6M Beam at 25 feet. Bill Smith, Douglas, MA.
