** CUBA. 5083 approx., Oct 5 at 2347, S9+10 distorted spurblob with F#
tone out of 5040 RHC, so that`s 43 kHz separation; also weaker about
5126, 4997 and 4954. At least one is further off WWV 5000, but poor
RWM 4996! Something`s always wrong at RHC. 5083 of course will
increasingly threaten 5085 WTWW-2 once it`s on circa 0100 (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TIBET. 4920, 4905, 4820, Oct 5 at 2350, JBA/VP signals seem Chinese
language, the middle one vs CODAR, and // on two radios. These of
course all correlate with PBS Xizang, ChiCom-occupied TIBET, and for
good measure I also get 7385. All are scheduled on air at this time
and we are right at grayline: Lhasa LSR today 2352 UT, Enid LSS 0008.
Also a similar signal on 4800 no doubt Golmud (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

0100 on WRMI 7780, VG S9+15 into Maine SDR; also confirmed UT Tue Oct
6 at 0330 on WRMI 5800, VG S8-S9 into Bonaire SDR; 0329 filled with
Zorba The Greek, Spanish ID. Next:

to TWR Bonaire SDR: definitely no LSB and with a reduced carrier. 2157
announcer is wrapping up program, but music past 2200; 2202, 6:02 TC
and ``Desde El Tigre, Anzoátegui, Venezuela 93.7 FM`` and again at
2205. There are, or were, several 93.7s in the country, but I search
it out to this:

This disgraced FB promotes various program segments emphasizing music,
but find no listen link. Such as 6-7 pm, `Leyendas de Venezuela`.
Another slogan is `Asi Suena` = this is how it sounds, attached to an
ID at 2223. Recheck 2319, still songs, 7:20 time check, ``Asi Suena``.
No call letters in ID. Apparently real station on FM, but this likely
a pirate relay, amounting to Venezuela`s only SW station, aside from
the murky 4940. At 2340 I try it direct but get only a JBA carrier.
Back to Bonaire, still going at 0100 but not at 0328. El Tigre is in
the center of Anzoátegui state, just east of Caracas (Glenn Hauser,

** CUBA. 13768 approx., Oct 5 at 1423, JBA trace of ratchety spur out
of 13700, no match audible on the -68 kHz minus side circa 13632.
Surely they can do better than that; something`s always wrong at RHC

** OKLAHOMA. RF 26, Oct 5 at 1512 UT, minor area tropo produces
several Bad signals to my broken antenna, only one barely decoding,
from Tulsa, i.e. 6-1 KOTV-HD with CBS Price Is Right; 6-2 KQCW-SD; 6-3
NewsOn6. Ex RF-45, repack to 26 caused KTEN Ada in SE OK to evacuate
to RF17 where it`s more or less blocked by Enid K17JN-D. But it`s
still KTEN, not KTWENTYSIX OR KSEVENTEEN (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
